Digital real estate - anyone into it?

Wtf is going on? Real estate in cyberspace? What is it? How does it work?

Is it like a corner of the screen on a popular website that one could own the rights to?
This chit is getting nuts.

Aware me for reps

A miscer more knowledgeable than you and me will come along and aware us. In the meanwhile watch this about NFTs

I’ve resisted not getting into crypto and chit but I recently gave in cuz I know people who made small fortunes (they were into their teens). So it turned out to be like a can of worms. Now I’m seeing all these currencies, NFTs, digital real estate. Like wtf man is this chit? I’m gonna put in a small percentage of my check into these on a regular basis I’m thinking

gotta buy some land in the metaverse asap OP.

imagine a long day of work, coming home and everyone hopping into VR. you're just there chillin with your prime city view land in the metaverse maybe sipping on some whisky before you head out to pick up a prime HBB.

Bring her back to smash, she's miring your NFTs before you go bang on the balcony.

NFTs are not a scam. Age: 34, might be why you think that way but open up a bit to see a different perspective.

Ask any 10yo kid about Roblox, Valorant, Fortnite etc and they will fully understand what NFTs are if you ask them to tell you about trading limiteds on Roblox. All of the passes, limited items, skins etc that you get on any of those games are no different than NFTs. Roblox in particular - and go check their user numbers and revenue it's absolutely insane.

These same kids that are now trading limited items on Roblox (a virtual item with a specific serial number, released in limited quantity, average price is determined fully by the market), will run NFTs and you'll be 50 talking about sports cards while they flip open their phone and show you 6 figure values of NFTs they own and could liquidate at nearly a moments notice for the right price.

About digital real estate which was OPs post... yeah I can see that feeling like a scam, there's so much unknowns about it and the idea of the metaverse and gamifying real estate is kind of out there and far fetched but see my previous post about VR.

It's not that far fetched if you think about VR for the masses and instead of logging onto a gay indian bodybuilding forum you log into the metaverse with a twink and a tranny.

Found the adult Roblox player

NFTs aren’t a “scam” , but it’s certainly a bull**** asset class that will be looked at one day as silly as Pets.com and beanie babies. It’s only hope is if the Metaverse takes off and having unique digital assets actually means something

Everything else you’re describing isn’t even an NFT and has been around for years. RuneScape, World of Warcraft, etc did the same thing just not at as big a scale. That’s just business add ons to a video game.

In short, lol if you buy NFTs. But can be money in making them

that matters not. we're talking about people who think crypto is not only as practical, but even more useful than regular electronic debit despite it relying entirely on electronic debit.

NFTs are a scam right now because they have no use. Roblox items or any in game items have uses. The only reason why people are into NFTs is so they can pump and dump them and make huge profits quickly. The only time NFTs will have a use is if the metaverse takes off.

I am interested in it but I will only invest once I see a actual metaverse being developed. As of now they are "profitable" because of the hype.

Not really.... I guess you could argue the efficiency of living in VR, but anyone can design 'vr real estate land' for nearly $0.... Who is paying for that?

You missed the whole point of what he said. You need to spend a few days with this youngsters and you’ll know.

They play fortnite for free and spend hundreds of dollars buying skins that DO NOT HELP THE GAMEPLAY.

I don’t fuking get it but there is money to be made. Stop being a sore loser about it and look at what’s happening with an open mind.

I missed so much opportunity not buying into crypto all these years. Just got into it last week…

If you have a $1000 and you can afford to never see $10 or $50 or whatever your number is out of it, put it into these “shams”. You never know

What if you had got onto Bitcoin back in 2010 or whenever it was launched? Just $10 worth or $1000 worth.

I was given the opportunity and I did not buy into it. Heck I didn’t buy till last week lol@me
