Ted Bundy Was 5’10 140lbs

I was reading his mugshot on a documentary I was watching and that was what he was listed as. How normal was that in the 70s and 80s? 140lbs at an average height. Was that considered real small back then? Even people nowadays who aren’t fat or muscular usually weigh a lot more than that but I guess he was quite skinny.

5'10 140 is a little thin; but no people generally weren't fat back then

"Most" serial killers tend to be nothing special physically. Ed Kemper was maybe an exception at 6'9" and 260lb+ whilst not being overweight.

Bundy DROPPED to 140lbs whilst in prison, he was around 165lb before.

Gotta know your serial killer physique stats.

I once saw an old scale from the 60s in public that you could use for a nickel. The standards on it for height vs weight were pretty crazy. At 5’10 155lbs was average weight. Average soldier in ww2 was 140lbs. People are fat as fukk now.

it wouldn't have been out of the ordinary.

Everyone is now an oompa loompa.

People were also more active, not in terms of exercise, more people are exercising now more than ever. Back then people would just walk more, take the stairs, more manual labor, less automation. Food has definately become more calorie condensed, less take away and fast food options.

America is a chronically obese and overweight country. It's actually a huge problem srs.

Humans are meant to be lean, light-weight hunting machines. You can run fast and far, and still have the strength to use your bow and arrow. We aren't meant to be obese fat boys or even remotely close to modern bodybuilders either srs.

Pretty crazy that Ramirez was 155lbs at 6’1. Jeffrey Dahmer was decent sized at 6’0 180lbs.

I’m interested in serial killers too, have been researching them for years. Yeah he dropped like 25lbs, I wasn’t sure if he was usually 140lbs and then got up to 160ish and the dropped back down to 140 or what. Because it said 140 on his mugshot which made me believe that was his weight when he was first arrested.
