Trolling hospital staff while I wait for my wife's surgery AMA

Holee chit they are loving their newfound power just like stewardesses after 9/11.

Brb sitting in a big comfy chair in the hallway when they want me to sit in a cramped waiting room with a bunch of other people (what happened to social distancing?)

Brb they keep walking past making passive aggressive comments about the waiting area to other people.

Brb took my mask off to drink my coffee for 15 mins.

Brb watching reels on my phone with the sound on.

It's insane how out of shape a lot of these ladies are huffing and puffing as they walk up and down the hallway.

I can see why they're bitchy though, a lot of patients and caregivers being very dramatic.

My wife and I are old hat at this at this point. Surgery number five or so in a two year period.

Cancer bruh. She is NED now but the reconstruction surgeries are never ending. Going to be a nice pair of fakies in a few more months though.

Now two Karens have showed up and were eyeing my setup so they tried to scare me off by sitting a few seats off and loudly chatting.

Pulled out the gear bag and popped in the headphones. Now they are sitting quietly knowing they have met their superior.

Sorry you have to deal with that, but no one gives a fuk and it doesn't mean you get a free pass to be a little twerp. But I guess if being a tool to hospital staff makes you feel alpha then.

I watched my brother die of cancer in March. He battled for years. Many many surgeries. No one in our family ever shared your dumbass attitude and we were grateful for everyone who did their part in the cog of the machine to at least give us that much time with him.

Burned my face up real good this summer. Walked into the ER, immediately telling me to put on a mask or I have to leave. Blisters forming on my red face, they keep handing me masks. Security comes over and insists I put on a mask. Bert stares all around. Walk in mask less and no one stops me. First nurse I see comes over and does 90% of the work in 1 minute, doesn't mention the mask situation. Follow up nurse does 10% of the work in 45 minutes and keeps offering me a mask and asking if I am vaccinated. Tell her no and not interested. She goes over to her morbidy obese other nurse friend and whisper to each other for the rest of my stay. As I'm walking out another fat nurse comes back there and starts mocking a guy in waiting room because he doesn't want to be given pain drugs. I said no to mine as well. Both nurses were perplexed at someone not wanting to take a painkiller.

They do great things, but without their little laptop telling them what to do half these nurses are glorified pre med 19 year olds in terms of their knowledge. They must've offered me a mask 10 times, literal blistered face and they are handing me cloth masks lmao.
