Good water filters?

I grew up on well water in the country but now I live in an apartment on city water and I’m sure it’s terrible quality and full of fluoride so I need a good water filter preferably a water pitcher filter I’ve been reading reviews and every filter has lots of very mixed reviews. If I’ll gonna spend money on a filter I at least wanna make sure it’s removing the fluoride anybody here knowledgable on it? So far the best option seems to be the clearly filtered water pitcher but it’s expensive and has a lot of mixed reviews I appreciate any input

Yeah pretty sure you need some advanced stuff to get rid of the fluoride

I bought an Alexapure water filter. One of those $200 ones. It's not a pitcher, it's the two stacked tanks that sits on your kitchen counter. It works pretty damn well. Another thing is the filter on it lasts --according to the manufacturer, at least -- up to 250,000 gallons of water. Apparently it's been tested a few times by different 3rd parties and found to be 99.99% free of anything contaminating your water.

I'd say just take the plunge. At least if you want to go the pitcher route get a Zero Water pitcher/filter. Apparently it's better than the Brita and Pur filters

We use the Berkey (Imperial) water filtration system. It is gravity fed and Berkey offers multiple sizes including smaller countertop. They sell fluoride specific filters that you buy separately. Expensive up front but worthwhile in the long run.

You're gonna need a legit reverse osmosis/5 stage water filter system. More expensive than those Brita ones and the like, obviously, but they're legit filters that will take everything you don't want out of the water much more so than the filters where the water just passes through the filter when you pour it or whatever. Worth it if you're serious about having the best water.

Up front cost is normally around $200-500, more if you want it professionally installed and can't do it yourself.

I've been thinking about getting a Berkey, as far as I know they're the only ones that offer fluoride filters
