Ate dog treats by mistake (SRS)(PIC). Am i gonna die?

My sister and brother-in-law were in town a week ago and they got some treats for my dog. They told me about it and i was like ok cool whatever.

2 days ago late at night i was watching a movie in my bedroom and decided to go to the living room get some ice water from the fridge. It was late at night and i saw these cookies and was like oh nice they left cookies . I grabbed them and brought them to my room.

Ate them slowly while watching movies in the dark. Tasted good af just like human cookies (SRS). I had 5-6 and really enjoyed them.

If that was not bad enough when i woke up i had some more not even really looking at packaging.


2 days later i looked at the packaging and was like wtf is this **** turns out its dog treats. How the **** they make them taste like human cookies wtf is this ****. Better yet why they put it in this kind of packaing ???




Its been two days and my stomach has not hurt or anything. Everyone i tell IRL find it hilarious but i keep waiting to get sick.

dog treats might have less animal by products than chicken nuggers.

i tasted dog food before and its very bland, there is very little salt, they must not need a lot of salt.


that is odd they taste like normal cookies, i would have assumed there was a lot less sugar in them. sounds like you will be fine, if its a smaller company then they prob just order from the same suppliers of ingredients used in human food.

i wouldnt eat dog food regularly because it doesnt have to meet the same standards/specs as human food, so maybe some type of chemical build up over time in your body. but if you just ate it once shouldt be anything serious because it would then kill your dog too

That's what you get for not paying attention to what your sister says. All kidding aside, take a read of the ingredients and see if there isn't something you are allergic to.
Otherwise, if you haven't had any symptoms of food poisoning, I think you're fine.

ROFL, whoever made that packaging knew what they were doing. That is ridiculous. It reminds me of the SNL fake commercial for Petchow brand rat poison.





True story, one time my cousin and I chewed on some rawhide dog bones. It was fine. Didn't taste like much and held its structure for a good amount of chewing. So we figured let's try these dog sausages that came with my dog's food. We ate them in my aunt's van on the way to Pizza Hut and the regret was immediate. It didn't come to puking, but there was a lot of spitting to do and it was a Dodge Caravan so we only had 1 inch of opening for the back windows. Needless to say, there is a definite line NOT to cross when you venture into the canine dining arena. That was also the day that we found out that if you call 911 from a payphone at Pizza Hut and hang up, they call back and talk to the staff, who them come and tell your parents.
