Lmao, abs are the hardest chit on earth!

Think about how bad you gotta want abs to get some nice ones.

You can do all the ab wheels you want, but if your diet isn't on POINT, you ain't getting them abs

You gotta be hungry a lot, drink caffeine to not go crazy, and cry whenever you pass the Chinese buffet.

I feel like unless you plan to go out shirtless or to the beach almost day, what is the point?

Abs are a fuking scam

For many, "having abs" is the default state. If they eat a normal diet and workout, they have abs.

It also takes you a solid 2-4 months of dieting to get them where you want. So like myself in the winter time I pack on some weight in order to lift heavier and get some muscle going. An extra 10-15 pounds... I gotta last minute trip to Miami for a festival and my body is not ready for an "Instagram worthy 6 pack" photo

"Having abs" is also different by person. Most non lifters when they think abs are like a 2-4 pack

lol I have hard solid abs year round and right now I am hating food because I am full all the time and could eat whatever I want and still have abs.

I am just far more advanced in training and knowledge and know how to manipulate everything better than the vast majority of lifters.

Its a pretty beginner idea to think you have to suffer to have abs.

yesterday I yolod it an ate donuts, tacos, poptarts, sushi, cinnamon rolls, cookies

My midsection is where I've always held the most fat and it's always the last place to lean out. The only time I have abs is around 3-4 weeks out from my shows lol...

Intermittent fasting. Get on it, get lean without feeling hunger.

Below 10% you will start feeling like **** regardless of hungry or not, so watch for that.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

That's not true. If you don't hold much fat in your midsection/abs it will be easier for you. Everyone holds fat different. Look at all the women who compete and have trouble bringing down their legs, hams and glute area. Can you get there...yep but some really gotta go the distance with diet and end up falling short. You know why?...longer prep needed and because it's hard.

True.

It's an enduring road. Takes so much longer than you initially imagine, and way harder to maintain than anything else in life.

Calling people stupid and focused on the wrong things is fukin retarded. If there's an area on your body where you hold the most fat it will be the last place to lean out. It's hard for many people...if it wasn't the whole world would be walking around shredded.

To sit here saying it's easy for everyone to get abs...no it's not.

Doesn’t change anything that he said babe. You just want to argue.

Use your example, someone that holds fat on their abs. Maybe that person is doing crunches thinking their gonna get abs. That’s focusing on the wrong thing, just like he said

most people lift weights they dont train muscles. Training muscles is a skill learned over time, lifting weights and adding more weight to the bar is rudimentary and where the vast majority of lifters get stuck. You also burn fewer calories and require less nutrients for recovery when all you do is move weight/lift weight instead of training muscles.

Most people dont know how to control their bodies energy expenditure. AKA knowing how many carbs/fats your body needs everyday. If you didnt exercise that day, you probably dont need as many carbs/fats that day. AKA carb cycling and nutrient timing

most people dont eat nearly enough protein or drink nearly enough water to have their hunger hormones kept in control. Most peoples blood sugar is constantly spiking and dropping and they confuse being thirsty with being hungry.

Controlling things like stress, blood sugar, sleep, and workout quality goes a lot further than a calorie deficit and doing more cardio.

Jestbrah and Kimm both are right on.

Imo if you are showing a mild sixer unflexed you are borderline unhealthy lean. This is speaking of me though where i carry most of my fat in my gut and chest like most men do.

My comfort zone for looking good, decent big and gaining is top 4 abs when flexed. To cut down to showing the 4th abs, C lentils. Thats the only way. Lol

honestly I hold more fat on my abs than anywhere. I get striated glutes and have feathered quads before good abs. Males hold more fat in their abdomen than their lower bodies so it makes sense. Abs are just one of the best signs of a males true bodyfat % just like quads and glutes and hamstrings are a good sign for women's because thats where they hold the most fat. Women who cant get definition in their legs have the same excuse as men who cant have abs, they just didnt get lean enough.
