Do we really think we’d have an all out war again? I don’t. The minute someone loses a battle they’d resort to using nukes.

Only time we see a ground war is when a country doesn’t have nukes.

In my opinion the only thing stopping Russia from doing so is there relationship with India. India buys weapons from Russia and the two countries develope weapons in conjunction.The two countries also conduct alot of special forces and anti terrorist excercise operations and training.

China is not happy with the Russian weapons amassed on their border with India, namely russian anti air missles. As the two countries China and India are at odds over border disputes. As well as terrorists from Pakistan having a suspicious amount of new chinese weapons and gear.

The only way I see it happening is if Russia disregards their relationship with India, or India and China mend their relationship or come to a concession over the border. If either of those things happen then I got some bad news

Russia isn't equiped to fight the US. Russias armed forces are comprised of an obscene number of ground units, tanks, trucks, APCs, mobile SAMs etc. There Navy and Airforce are dwarfed by ours. Russia is basically equiped to crush NATO and occupy Europe. Though in theory they could also do the same to China through Siberia.

Russia doesn't want to fight the US, they don't have ambitions beyond reclaiming former soviet terroritories: Ukraine, Latvia, Kazacatstan, Armenia, Georgia etc. Which they would be very tempted to do if the US was occuppied with China. As NATO would be helpless

Russia & China vs USA at same time- They would win

Russia vs USA/ NATO & China vs USA/Asia alliance at the same time - They would lose big


China and Russia have very few allies that would join the fight. USA has 30 allies just in NATO...They would be fighting wars on every front.

Don't forget that Germany and The Soviet Union teamed up to invade Poland. The Soviets were responsible for 350k~1M dead Polish citizens who were deported to Siberia. Germany was the enemy because they had best economy in Europe despite the Treaty of Versailles which terrified the regional powers.
