How did you learn of the misc?

I made an account for regular bb.com forums and never really knew of the misc. It wasnt till I was on the offtopic forums and got linked to here to the "my gf posed on my car" post and had many lolz. Havent really left since. Either way, how did you find out about the misc, misc?

In like 2010, I typed "funniest threads" into Google. I wasn't even a bb.com user, I just wanted to see what the funniest thread was on the entire internet. One of the first links was the Malodrax date thread. A bunch of other links, were other forums literally talking about the Misc and that thread.

I had discovered how hairy my ass was and started to freak out, so then I went over to google and searched 'hairy ass?'

I found the site. Then the forum.

For whatever reason the first part of the forum I went to was the misc.

The first two threads I saw were.

I found bodybuilding.com in 2001 searching sports supplements on my computer. In early 2002 I realized there was a forum and I joined for the main boards but hung around longer for the Misc and the Sex Sections.

Thats a good question, I really don't remember. I just remember getting negged consistently for my first month until I escaped red due to giving lifting advice and the fantasy football section.

Were you in the betting section too? I loved a good whaling back then. I won big on Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir ufc 100 getting the 2nd round finish correct. Then I lost 4-5k posts when the section was removed iirc.

I wasn't, I think the rep betting ending a little bit after I joined. I didn't even really understand reps for awhile after joining.

Same. I was on the 2+2 forums way back in the day. They had a subform similar to misc (think it was called News, Views, and Gossip). They linked the above thread. I didn't actually sign up til a few years later.

started reading the normal BB forums in 05-06, wasn't shortly after that I started miscing. once you know how to lift and eat it's basically cruise control. the forum is not what it once was but still post on here occasionally

Googled exercises and many results led to this forum. Occasionally it would be from the misc section. Started off mainly in the powerlifting section but started lurking misc. It was The most bizarre and funny forum I'd ever seen. Finally decided to make an account and the rest is history.
