UK BRAHS - just did some COVID CALCULATIONS

Just checked NHS for today's stats

Covid cases today = 91,743

deaths today from people who tested positive within 28 days = 44

So, let's say of those 44 deaths, 20 probably died from old age etc but just happened to test positive within 28 days of passing.

Out of the 24 remaining deaths, 15 were probably obese/had other pre-existing conditions.

So at a stretch, 9 relatively healthy people died out of 91,743

That's a mortality rate of 0.009% for your average person.

Most of the people in hospitals with Covid at the moment in the UK were admitted into hospital with a different illness/ailment, and were only found to be positive once they ran tests on them - but media reports that it's Covid clogging up the hospitals.
