My 573 hp engine build - video
I went down the rabbit hole with this one. Pulled 351w with 375 hp out of my 1965 Mustang to freshen it up. Ended up building this monstrosity of a motor for that little 2800 lb car. Mainly a street car but I will be taking it to the strip a couple times per year with buddies that have hot rods too. This thing is going to be a tire fryer so I'll let you know what tires I'll be using so you can buy stock in the company.
573 hp at 5800
571 torque at 4200
408 stroker kit (actually a 410 since bored 40)
10.3:1 compression
AFR 205 Heads
Weiand 8023 dual plane intake
Holley 750
Comp Hyd Roller Custom Grind
Intake Duration at .050 - 236
Exhaust Duration at .050 - 242
Intake lift - .555
Exhaust lift - .576
LSA - 110

Awesome man. I know the feeling of excitement you have to drop that thing in. Pics of the '65? Maybe a min tub is in order so you can put a tire under there?
