Witcher Season 2
Just finished, definitely worth the watch.
Also, new Witcher series (spin-off/origin story) titled Blood Origin set to come out sometime in the near future.

i thought it was a bit meh honestly
not as much sword fighting as the first season. not much in terms of story or world building either. i preferred season 1 for it's smaller stories

Chit is just the most derivative woke bs. The acting is absolutely terrible and the only good thing about it Cavill is a pretty good Geralt.
Compare this chit to Gomorrah and its actually sickening what big budget US series have become.

not as much sword fighting as the first season
True however, adding too much of that would have had this season be split into two-parts and the cliff-hanger didn't seem like it would have been worth it.It's good they got the main point of what is to come done, even at the expense of less fights.
not much in terms of story or world building either.
I thought there was just enough world building to give us an understanding of what is out there in their world - got to leave us wondering. Also, story wise I think they also did a good job of giving us all the backstory needed to progresses into season 3.
I'd imagine season 3 will lean more into how season 1 was now that they've given us the information we need for what's to come with all the kingdoms and the gang.

Was very underwhelming tbh, and I really enjoyed S1 and have played W1-W3.
I almost fell asleep on Episode 5-6, it felt like I was watching Pride and Prejudice just fukin sloots blabbing on and on in really slow dull scenes where they're always crying or about to cry, almost started skipping scenes. And this is despite enjoying Ciri this season and Yen last season.
It started off fukin amazing with Ep 1 and kinda fell off.
Still a good show, I'm just happy to see a fantasy show that looks sick, the CGI and cinematography was really well done. The monster fights were really well done.
But if you paid attention, the amount of blatant feminism chit...just fuk off Hollywood. I haven't read the books but book readers were livid that only like 10% of the Season was from the source material, the rest was the usual Hollywood trash script
Geralt takes a backseat to his own show lul.
At this point, as predicted, they may as well call it The Witcherette.

brah its all about ciri.
The Witcher has been "woke" i guess from day one. The author even said that he only really had female roll models in his life growing up in post ww2 poland. So he based the women in the novels off women who he knew irl.

It definitely wasn't bad, but it still wasn't as good as it could have been. It felt like season 1 was rushed because it had Geralt and Ciri main story mixed with the 'filler' type episodes that set up Geralt/Yennifer and Geralt/Jaskier. Season 2 felt more focused on the story, but it then lacked what season 1 had. I feel like if both had a couple of more episodes each, it would have been much better overall
edit: where the **** is this 'woke' stuff coming from? especially relative to current day 'woke' culture lmao. seems like people are genuinely searching for it to make a case

All characters should've been white, source material is clear. Meanwhile when a foreign film gets a hollywood adaption, ethincs start crying the head role is played by a white man/woman.

Currently reading through the books. It really is nothing like the show. The first episode being the best is funny because that's the only one that somewhat stuck to the source material. Except ciri wasn't there in the book.
