Jan. 6th inmate in DC jail describes gulag conditions, torture, and beatings.

He's released a letter through his attorney, well worth reading. These people are political prisoners being deliberately maltreated by democRATs for what amounts to little more than trespassing offenses.
My name is Nathan DeGrave, and as a non violent participant at the Jan 6th rally, I’ve spent the last 9 months detained as a political prisoner in pod C2B at the DC DOC…otherwise known as DC’s Gitmo. The conditions here for Jan 6ers have been inhumane. In fact, some inmates are even begging to be transferred to GUANTANAMO BAY, where even THEY have more acceptable standards.
RELIGIOUS SERVICES, protected by the 1st amendment, are NOT provided to Jan 6ers. Neither are in person classes or other activities available to the rest of the jail. An inmate named Ryan Samsel, instead attempted to organize his own bible study inside the pod, until he wasviciously BEATEN and LEFT FOR DEAD by correctional officers. He suffered a broken eye socket and brain damage as a result of the vicious attack. He’s now permanently blind in one eye.
And last but not least, we experience racism from many guards on a daily basis, being the ONLY WHITE REPUBLICANS in the entire jail.

The false narrative is has been passed around the jail and to corrections officers that we are “white supremacists” (we are NOT). The inmate population is predominantly black, so we are at risk being here because of this false narrative.The guards are mostly liberal migrants from Africa who have been conditioned to hate us, and hate America.Jan 6ers have been mocked, beaten and ridiculed by guards for singing the National Anthem. The Corrections Officers despise our politics and the love we have for this country.At one point, an officer even yelled “F**K AMERICA!”, and threatened to lock us down FOR A WEEK if we attempted to sing the National Anthem again.

That’s their main problem/ half assed it. Also why would trump pardon people for storming the capital? Those people should’ve gotten a larger number together instead of going off half cocked and hoping for the best. If you’re going to do it, do it right.

They’d be fine if they have just went and looted some Walmarts and burned down some foot lockers tho.

Wow. This is real life Russia. In the gulags, they used violent criminals as prison guards, which is why the treatment was so horrible.

According to inside sources, they are being denied medical care, one of them had a horribly deformed broken finger for months now as a result of being beaten by the guards. For the longest time they wouldn’t allow them to see their lawyers, and when they finally were able to, they were thrown in to solitary confinement for two weeks, saying “You’ve been exposed (COVID), we can’t have you among the other inmates”. Mind you, solitary confinement is a form of torture, and it’s never used for more than a few days at a time. Two weeks is straight up POW treatment.

I wouldn’t say they half assed it. The White House held a rally to maximize participants. A coalition of multiple groups were formed, some ex-military. The White House communicated to these groups from a “war room” set up in the Willard Hotel. Rioters brought guns, knives and zip ties for hostages. Rioters used military tactics against their own country. The White House had already told the National Guard to not respond so protestors were given free reign….


I mean, we now know it was a highly organized, highly trained and armed effort by thousands of people, led by the Trump White House.

It makes it all the more hilarious that Trump abandoned them despite their loyalty and sacrifice on his behalf.

Only a few firearms were found and they were discovered when searching people’s vehicles, and one of them was in their trailer. Only one person had a firearm on their person. According to the FBI, none of the rioters arrested were armed with a firearm, stated during the oversight committee hearing when questioned if they found any firearms. They stated “not to my knowledge”

Every now and then I come across someone who totally buys in to the politicized narrative. It weirds me out- like, hello, have you just slipped in here from an alternate reality?

What I saw of events that day was foolish people not thinking too clearly caught up in the moment following the fool in front of them because if other people were doing it then it must be okay.

If it were an ACTUAL insurrection then I would expect some number of Congressional members to be deceased after the fact and also many DC police and participants.

Personally I don't recall seeing any footage of violent B&E [breaking glass, prying doors, etc.]. Not saying that didn't happen, just that I didn't see it.

They didn't bring zip ties, no protestors were found with guns, noone used "military tactics" they walked in the front door as security held it open and a couple climbed through windows, the White House offered NatGuard support but the Capitol denied the offer for extra security, and it's been proven in court that there was zero planning that was done before hand, it was all spontaneous.

You got literally every single fact wrong. Amazing. Strong location. I always wonder who actually believes msm narratives. Like you could have googled it just once in the last year to find out what actually happened before talking out your ass.
