Just watched matrix 4 and jfc [spoilers][no hover]

It was pretty good. 8/10 srs. This movie is getting chit on for no reason. Ngl I liked everything that was changed. Combining Smith and morpheus into a new Morpheus was pretty sick. The actual new Smiths actions made sense as well.

People are complaining that neo was replaced and that's not the case at all. Neo and trinity's plot was done well....but there's just something missing about the whole movie. It lacks the understated noir of the first films. It lacks the smooth expression if ideas through circumstance and connotation. It force feeds you the plot and waterboarded you with flashbacks like the opening of robot chicken.

The fact of the matter is that it's a good story told poorly, but God damnit if I don't love seeing neo and trinity. Those bastards. 8/10. Still a better love story than twilight.

It's interesting because I seeost reviews saying the same things, it's just that some of it is unforgivable for some people. I went in with real fukking low expectations and had a good time. It's true the fight scenes are lame, but that's the point of the movie. They're not there to fight anymo....err not as much.

Look, all I am saying is go into this movie expecting a Syfy level production and you'll enjoy yourself.

I watched in on HBO now. The darks we're not suitable and there was virtually no detail in shadows. Action also suffered from artifacts and blurring. I fukking hate strramingy, but it wasn't a cam rip.

Since it was released on hbo and not just the theatres you can find it on all the hack sites in HD. It was 5-6/10 I thot. Beginning was slow as fuk. Barely made it thru first 30 min.

Didn't hate it, but it felt like it did not put enough time into the new characters so they feel more like background noise than anything and I couldn't get invested in them; also slow at a lot of points IMO.

Maybe a 4-5/10, worth a watch but I'd never pay to see it.
