$50k/year for a job you love or $250k/year for a job you hate?

You can only choose 1 and have to live with it for the rest of your life. Go.

$250k job for 5-10 years, invest aggressively, then coast with $50k job ($100-150k would be more realistic than $50k, though)

Didn’t read the first point but it’s a retarded rule anyways

$50k for life if I had to choose (although that isn’t really the way the world works)

This - super black and white example that means dick. Most careers offer some type of progression and for people who have a dilemma between careers, the lower-paying career is usually at least 65-70% of the other one.

50k

I have learned that money is not everything. I would rather happily live in a 1 bd apartment than live angrily in a 5 bd house

Luckily I can make the 250k happily but I choose to have way more time off than most.

You cannot take money with you when you die

250k a year.

Rationale? I make 70k a year now and hate my fking job so it's basically a pay raise. Great question!

$250K

cause once that paycheck starts rolling in you will find happiness/cool sht to do with that money to offset the hate from the job
