Dinner pic from last night

We had wife's whole family (6 adults and 3 kids) over for dinner last night

Ham
Stuffing
Green Bean Casserole
Crescent rolls
Loaded mashed potato bar - I added green onion, cheese, bacon, sour cream

Time for fasted cardio this morning to get metabolism rolling again, then having some leftover ham with eggs and toast.

Hope Christmas was good boyos.

I will be honest - it's not much to look at, but it looks tasty srs.

Here was my take at a Gordon Ramsay style turkey

I have to admit, it was cottamn tasty. Whole family claimed they were impressed but they're old school butterball boomers so they were horrified when I didn't use boxed stuffing and let it rest on the counter for 2 hours.

The gravy I made was insane.

Sounds like you had a good time!

Yeah dude Christmas food/sides usually look kind of gloppy but it's all about the flavor.

turkey runnings
onion, lemon, herbs I stuffed it with
the bacon covering it
the trimmings like the wings
a bottle of hard apple cider
a few tomatoes
reduces down to consistency I wanted and mashed with potato masher then strained in a gravy boat.

I'm about to dig into my leftover turkey and all sides. My toilet barely survived the onslaught this morning dead srs.

Any idea what I could make with the turkey carcass and the leftover sludge mixture from my gravy that's made up of bacon, wings, onions, herbs, etc? I was thinking a stew.

My grandma used to make something like this. I specifically remember the barley.
