Dying light 2

Anyone else hyped about this one? The first one was great imo and I’ve been waiting on the 2nd a while.

Feb 4 2022 release date (if they don’t push it back again).

Super hyped, dying light was the goat zombie game of last gen Imo. Hopefully they improve the story and characters but either way as long as the open world is good and I have lots of ways to kill zombies should be fun. The bow better still be there too, goat weapon

It’s there. I watched some YouTube video where some guy got to go play a few hours of it and he showed video of the bow. I don’t think there’s any guns this time, or maybe if there are they’ll be very rare.

Apparently the story and characters got a lot of attention this time around according to him compared to the first also. Was hoping it’d be day 1 on game pass but I don’t think it will, either way I’m buying it. This game may be the best one of 2022 if it surpasses the first I’m any way. There’s supposed to be a heavy story line based on your choices and the new worlds are well done with buildings that you can go into more. Not just mostly rooftops. I’m hyped af for this, I just hope its worth the wait considering it took them so long.

What platform are you boyos getting this game on?

I havent been able to cop a new xbox or PS so I was leaning toward PC since gameplay on PS4 could be not great

Thoughts?

remember almost pissing myself that in the first game where your guy get's stuck outside at night and has to make a run for it back to the base. ahh good times.

gonna wait a few days to buy it to see if there are any issues with the PC version. If so, then I'll get it for the PS5.

A lot of the reviews are citing lots of bugs as a reason why it’s been marked down.

Techland the developer have previously confirmed there will be a sizeable day 1 patch.

Not saying the reviews aren’t fair but it’s reasonable to say they may not be entirely relevant upon full release on Friday

Seems like the game is a buggy mess right now.

Havnt seen other reviews yet. I'll still prolly get it soon because the first game was pretty damn good and the devs supported it well.

Edit - Actually nvm lel, with Horizon coming out ... And me playing Deep Rock atm. I dont wanna burn myself out on an open world and one that will be less superior to what GG does with Horizon.
