Ppl vs bro split
Been running bro split my whole life, but according to most people it's something of the past and your leaving gains on the table by doing it
Tried ppl dfor 6 weeks, exhausted, hated every workout, how do people do this ****, it's crazy, if your doing ppl your not training intense enough or your on the sauce

Been doing bro split for over 18 years at this point. I tried PPL a few times venturing into it, but it just never sat with me. I wasn't nearly as consistent, wasn't enjoying it as much, which led to less than stellar results. Regardless of which one may or may not be better, I think it comes down to actually putting in the work. i.e. Doing and enjoying a bro split leading to more consistency will yield better results long term than half-assing PPL and being miserable while doing it. And vice versa for those who enjoy PPL.

because most idiots try doing bro split volume and no of exercises per body part in one single session of a push day or a pull day
They don't bother to program it properly
same with any higher frequency training really. Or they'll claim they're following a program properly but then at the end of every session 'oh what harm can 2 or 3 more exercises do'....'maybe just 3 more sets of flies cos i dont feel like i did enough..'
'6 weeks later...'holy chit i cna't move, this sucks back to bro split'

Modified brosplits are the way. Most people over estimate their ability to recover and end up hitting unoptimal workouts on ppl. With a brosplit you get atleast 1 good workout in + aditional work unless you go full retard and dont put compound movements on arm&shoulder day. With ppl its easy to start with a good workout but push it too much and end up under recovering for the second workout, so you get one ok workout and 1 half assed workout. But if you know your recovery then ppl would probably be superior.

Honestly, full body 3-4 days a week is my go-to split after many years of trying many different training variations. After training for a couple years you should know your body and manually regulate intensity and volume.

I've been doing a general HIT PPL for 3-4 years now, focused primarily on heavy compounds. It's been working really nicely. Did bro split for a long time before and was in the gym up to 5-6 days a week. Found out that really isn't necessary unless you're augmented.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

Try eating more and sleeping more. Push, Pull, Legs isn't bad at all. Full body workouts three times a week is allot more difficult.

PPL is the GOAT for me, go heavy enough and it works. People try PPL/UL and say it isnt hard enough, well yea you are using lighter weight. You dont need to do 30 different chest variations to make it grow.

Modified Bro split crew. No desire to even try PPL. Already have lagging arms. PPL would only make it worse
