Coworker died of covid yesterday :(

Just found out a coworker died of covid yesterday.

They took him off the respirator yesterday, has been out since late November. He was in his 50s I think. Wasn't obese but unsure of comorbidities or Vax status.

I'm not jabbed, but guys please remain careful out there. Wasn't really close with him, but cuts kinda deep knowing that he died.

well i had it at 56 , this time last year for 2 weeks , some fatigue and mild shortness of breath, back to full fitness 3 weeks later, no longer term issues, had antibodies 7 months later there are 50s and there are 50s

50's without having multiple serious health conditions on top of obesity is rare

You're roughly 15x more likely to be killed in a car accident today than that happening

I’m sorry Op. Condolences to family and friends. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of my father-in-law’s passing. He also passed from Covid after spending 7.5 weeks on a ventilator. Stay safe out there.

Sadly that sounds accurate. NAC several doses a day as soon as he had symptoms or tested positive would have gone a very long way in preventing progression of the disease.

Get the less controversial drug Fluvoxamine. L- Arginine twice a day to increase notice oxide levels.

To remind people to be careful. I know survival rate is high but don't test it yourself. I've been getting a little careless myself, so this reminded that me that it's still out there.

The guy was in the air force reserve so I wonder if they mandated him to get vaxxed...

This op. They did this to my friend’s uncle. Went to the hospital and got ventilated. Of course no visitors allowed so they can literally get away with murder. RIP to everyone affected by this medical malpractice all in the name of profit, fear and control.

RIP to co-worker. I am on day 11 or 12 of COVID and my symptoms have been very mild thankfully. My acquaintance from a local bar is 29. He's overweight but not morbidly obese. He was in the hospital for a month and has a golf ball size hole in his lung. He's been released but is on oxygen now. A family friend died of it. He was 55 and smoked, but not morbidly obese. And then my 60 year old 500-600lb diabetic neighbor who's relegated to a motorized scooter got it from his care taker and he was hospitalized for a week but got over it just fine.

It's weird how it affects people differently.

It's almost like people forgot the Flu has been killing people in their 20s 30s 40s etc for centuries.

Someone gets sick and dies now and everyone panics.

That's nuts because I think I have COVID. My body was aching all last night and I had the chills.

Crazy how the vaccine didn't help, although I was suppose to take two and not one shot.

Same thing with vitamin hi-c. Millions of men live with depression because of pharmaceutical companies creating a "must protect muh sports" narrative, when in reality, you can't patent a naturally occurring substance, so they'd rather have you on more expensive drugs.

The latest one is women and c-sections. Insurance companies don't like them because they cost 5-10x more than a vaginal birth, so they've been trying to get rid of them through swaying medical boards. Personally know someone that almost died giving birth naturally, despite all signs pointing to needing a c-section. They ended up doing an emergency c-section anyway. Absolutely fooking pathetic.

Not disagreeing, but I know 0 people including old people who have been hospitalized due to the flu in my entire lifetime. I know 5 people who have been hospitalized for COVID from the last year alone.
