lost smell/taste today

Felt like I had a cold the past few days, all the regular symptoms. Today I lost my taste and smell. Not sure if I have covid for for brahs who lost taste and smell how long until it came back??

Pretty sure losing a bit of taste/smell is par for the course with normal colds too though.

I remember losing my taste with a bad cold but it was many many years ago. Hopefully just that again

Dont you lose your taste when you're sick because your nose is super clogged?

I remember this happening to me all throughout my life whenever you have the sniffles, isnt just covid

Came back gradually over the course of a month or so for me.

Take deep whiffs of strong things to help train it back. I guess it helps?

Covids is quite unique. There's no mistaking it, and no nasal clearing spray will fix it.

The way Covid rapes your smell / taste is much different than a regular cold. Feels like the receptors get burnt off or something. No amount of decongestant allows you to smell anything. I couldn’t even smell creed Aventus lul

I tried smelling a few of my fragrances earlier today and nothin. And I just took a chit, wiped my arse and literally held the toilet paper to my nose and couldnt smell it lol

Happened to me last week but instead of losing my smell all I smelled it tasted was cigarettes. No matter what I did all I could smell or taste was cigarettes. Never took a Covid test though. No time for that

Loss of taste of smell is when your sinuses get blocked, it's not exclusive to SCAMVID

If you want to test this theory when do have taste and smell, hold your nose and try and taste what you're eating

You have a cold or sinus infection

Taste came back fully after about a month. Smell still isn't back all the way at 2.5 months out. Couldn't smell a thing for 6 weeks
