So you’re a Detective at your local Police Department and...

You catch a case:
Single female found dead in a sleazy motel.
All evidence points to she was a prostitute and her last John decided das it.

Are you less inclined to care/want to solve said case given her choice of “career?(lol)”

Have to figure that most people you deal with are in this life so its not like you just want to do the minimum and wait for the big celebrity case to come along, Thats just for tv.

Sure, you would care but she was in a high risk lifestyle. That said, just because she has sex for money doesnt mean she should be treated that way.

People make stupid choices all the time but shoudlnt be killed for it. If that were the case washington would be a ghost town.

Life isn't like a detective show on television-the most likely answer is usually the right one-if all the evidence points one way, then that is the main line you go with. If you are asking do you not bother tracking the guy down or arresting him then no-he is obviously a danger to all women & no cop wants an unsolved murder on their books, neither do their superiors.

Lmfao I’m not a detective irl. A show made me think of it.
My perspective is either way I’m trying to solve the case but if this one went unsolved vs a teacher or nurse or something it wouldn’t haunt me as much.

Why would I care any less than any other typical investigation I respond to?

As an actual LEO I can tell you after a few years of doing your job it just becomes routine.

You go through your process and check your boxes like any other investigation.

Whether it’s a domestic, child abuse, suicide, or homicide it doesn’t matter.

You move forward with what you have, personal feelings usually don’t factor in very often at all.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

I would still do my best to solve the case.

Yes being a prostitute is a bad "profession" but you never know what's going on in these women's lives.

I'll give you an example.

A few years ago a buddy of mine found out one of his apartments was actually being used as a brothel of sorts.

So he called me up and a few others as back up to go and raid the place and kick everyone out.

When we got there the place was empty (he'd been having real issues with the tenant already so I guess they bailed early and didn't want to pay rent).



But they'd left a lot of their stuff behind so we helped him clear it out.

Every room was setup with red curtains and dim lighting to give that red light district look.

It seemed like a few of the women just lived there as they'd left behind possessions and ID's etc.



However, in one of the rooms I actually found a girl's schoolbooks.....

As I looked more into it, I found several notes she'd taken in class along with a picture...

You know, the type you take for a school photo.

She was 16 years old.

And was going to school to try and get a better life (I read this in one of her notes).

Now I have no clue if she was also getting pimped out but her room was setup like the others so I can only assume so.



It was a real sad moment for everyone when I showed it to all the others.

So yeah, you never know what's what with these girls.
There is but one path....we kill them all.
