I would argue that a majority of people who legitimately get deep into bodybuilding (where bodybuilding, not sports/athetics/health, is primary/only reason they lift/diet/etc) for long durations of time have some sort of mental issues. Not necessarily serious mental issues, but at least milder ones stemming from some sort of deep-rooted insecurities.

And let's face it, a LOT of people who are into bodybuilding are narcisisstic douchebags. Obviously not all by any means, but if you've been lifting and around gymcels long enough, I think most would agree that it's true.

Let's be honest. There's no way a person has zero mental issues of any sort if they spend years of their lives where 75% of their existence revolves around going to the gym and eating boring asss food.

Word. I just assume that most people with pretty dark skin are from Africa/Asia dude. I mean I know I posted a tonne of tiktok vids in reply but it was just the last one that was serious.. that Christopher Alder bit at the end. Hadn't heard of that, ever..

It's like how my whole life I just thought Notting hill carnival was some big party.. didn't realise it was to commemorate a racist murder.

By African culture, I guess I was trying to say that tiktok has shown me some real world racism going on, and snippets of data that show me the roots of some of the twistedness of prejudice against minorities. How the media cover it.. what they don't.. and as I'm in the UK, you know, racism is a thing here but classism stomps down on all us working class.

Seen plenty of vids of darker skinned chaps talking about their tribulations and posting vids of em, while pale folk aren't as prominent in doing that.

Edit: sorry I missed what you were saying about people of African descent. I went to a grammar school with a lot of second generation Africans. Mostly Nigerians.
