In the years before 2020 there seemed to be a growing discussion about what terrible people anti-vaxxers are. I distinctly remember expecting at least one thread whenever I was mindlessly scrolling the main page of the leftist echo chamber.

This post was made in 2018, the user noticed that reddit had an "aggressively pro-vaccine" culture, the same as what I was seeing.



If you do a google search for "anti-vax" or "anti-vax + reddit" and adjust the date range you get a result that supports this. Pre 2013 there is next to nothing about it. Pre 2015 the phrase is used on various news websites but there is very little on reddit or forums about it. If you do this all the way up to a few years leading up to 2020 the discussion about anti-vaxxers really ramps up.



There are especially a chitload of reddit threads in 2018-2019 and a lot of it revolves around teenagers breaking away from their crazy "anti-vax" parents and taking it upon themselves to "make the right decision" and get vaccinated, not even referring to the covid vaccine in these cases obviously as covid didn't even exist at this point.

It really prepared the leftist hivemind to be ready for war against those who rejected the new wave of mandatory, never before seen mRNA vaccines that have been thrust upon us.

I was thinking about this the other day actually. Found it interesting. It was like a nice slow trickle.
