Tennis player and world number 1 Novak blah blah has refused the vaccine and it looked like he wouldn’t play in the Aussie open.

Novak has been given a pass on vaccination so he can play. They need him more than he needed them

He's at the top of his sport with the potential to be considered the GOAT if he just wins a couple more majors and sustains dominance a bit longer. No reason for him to jeopardize his health and career over covid.

Tennis Australia said Djokovic was granted an exemption after a "a rigorous review process involving two separate independent panels of medical experts".

"Fair and independent protocols were established for assessing medical exemption applications that will enable us to ensure Australian Open 2022 is safe and enjoyable for everyone," said Tiley in a statement on Tuesday.

Would have been better if his "friends" in tennis Nadal/Roger etc stated that they would not play if there were restrictions.

I have now former friends that I cut from my life because when I complained about restrictions due to the vax passport they simply said "it's none of my concern."
