The urgent care I went to ripped me off, wat do?
Suspected I had covid and went to a local urgent care to get tested and see a doc.
The service was really good. Got my test done, saw the doc, and left happy about the experience.
Today I received an email from them to fill out a customer satisfaction survey. In the survey I noticed it wasn't a doctor that I saw, it was a freaking PA! wtf? If I had some make believe illness I'd have no issue seeing a make believe doctor, but this is serious stuff!
I'm pissed! I feel I got ripped off by not getting to see a doctor. Can I cancel my insurance payment to them?

Some insurance plans do pay less if it's a PA that sees you, so if you are paying out your deductible you may have already received a price break.
I used to work with a doctor who bragged that he had been instrumental in the State of Illinois allowing up to 4 PA's to be supervised per doctor. I asked him how many he was comfortable supervising, and he said 2, lol.
