Vegans and Watchcells

Both attempt to define themselves with their habit/product, but to outsiders it isn't apparent that they possess the thing which is meant to define them. Like, I can't see that you only eat non-meat products, or that the watch on your wrist which I see from a distance cost a stupid amount of money.

To compound matters we now have the online presence where we are no more than the words we type.

So, both Vegans and Watchcells need to compensate for this lack of perception - which they do by telling people about it.

True of the watch wearers maybe.

Vegans don't do it for identity. They tell you about it in hopes you will join them. They are like Mormons. Mormons don't care that you know they are Mormon. They want you to go to their church. Or in the case of vegans, they want you to stop hurting animals.
