Probably not since the vaccine does not prevent you from getting Covid and spreading it. I'd be super careful tho with contact with other people and make sure we are all taking every measure to be as healthy as possible to make sure we didn't get Covid.

Actually it does when their body is immunocomprised because you getting the virus and spreading it to them could be a risk to them and their body. Now of course this jab doesn't work but that's a completely different point.

yes, because despite the fact it will not stop me from geting it (and spreading it), it would lower the chances.

I would risk the experimental vax for them, but I'm not risking my life for people that I dunno.

no where has it been proven to lower reduce transmission or reduce your risk of getting it

I would have in February of last year. I absolutely would not knowing and experiencing what we know now.

Then: it was sold as a 2-shot and done deal. It was sold as safe. It was sold as effective. I was highly skeptical of it being both safe and effective but even I did not fathom that whatever benefits they had would almost immediately wane and everyone would need constant boosters to maintain some level of protection.

Also, then, it was sold as a way to avoid getting covid. We now know it doesn't. It only possibly makes the effects of it less if someone should get it. Fuk that -- if I am worried about a loved on getting covid from me, I do not care about lessening it for my own sake. I want to *KNOW* I have covid and am a threat and that I need to self-quarantine. I do not want my symptoms masked, I want to be fully aware. Like when I actually got it - I knew I was contagious, stayed home, avoided people and did not infect any other person.

Lastly, since February, I've had covid and gotten over it and now have that level of (far superior) protection from natural immunity. Omicron might still be a problem with re-infection, but from all accounts it's on the same level as a cold.

So, then? Yes. I would have hesitated, thought about it long and hard and ultimately done what I thought was best to protect my loved ones. Now, I know better and know it would not help in that goal so it's not something I want.

There is something that reduces transmission. It's called being lean thus carrying a smaller viral load. I was hovering around regular person 14% BF and I have since trimmed down not only for myself but or others around me. I'm sick of obese smokers telling me to "protect them" by getting an experiment injected into me.
