“Great” movies you thought were 💩

Once upon a time in America.

I’m a fan of De Niro and Sergio Leone but I wasted my time watching this garbage recently. Meh

Maybe as it was early 80s

Forrest Gump. Top 10 worst movie I’ve seen even as a fan of Mr. Hanks.

Boondock Saints - sorry but there was no depth or anything to this movie, it was an obvious double digit IQ movie to appeal to east coasters and hyper masculine males and tradies

Dunkirk- fell asleep and then walked out of the movie 3/4 through because I felt like I was massively wasting my time

Almost anything with Kevin Costner. The only thing I’ve ever liked him in is Yellowstone.

Titanic. That's 11 hours of my life I'll never get back. The only redeeming quality was finally seeing Leo's cold dead corpse sink to the bottom of the ocean because I knew the torture was soon over.

Interstellar. Absolute trash considering the hype. Matthew McConaughey was the only positive.

Entered thread to post this. Heard that was supposed to be on of the best movies of the 2010's decade. It was hard to make finish the movie it was so bad.

Probably Star Wars and Lord of the Rings - just didn't find the movies as hype as people made them out to be.

trendy arthouse style movies just don't work for me.

Mother!, The Lighthouse, stuff like that. always involves body mutilation or somebody jerking off or something to shock you. just leave me alone w/ that.

Taxi Driver

Thought it was boring and I like most Scorsese movies.

Not sure if the latest Star Wars sequels or Marvel movies are considered "great" but I find most of them complete garbage.

I never got the Forrest Gump obsession.

Titanic sucks but I got laid that night back in college for sitting through that garbage.

Silver Linings Playbook is gay as fuk.

2001 Space Odyssey sucks and I love sci-fi.
