Seems to be alot of self-deletions going on lately?
2 people have deleted themselves within about a months time where I work with about 80 employees. I just looked up stats and found these..
https://afsp.org/suicide-statistics/
Additional facts about suicide in the US
The age-adjusted suicide rate in 2019 was 13.93 per 100,000 individuals.
The rate of suicide is highest in middle-aged white men.
In 2019, men died by suicide 3.63x as often as women.
On average, there are 130 suicides per day.
White males accounted for 69.38% of suicide deaths in 2019.
In 2019, firearms accounted for 50.39% of all suicide deaths.
These 2 guys I know of are definietely true to the stats. I wonder if its purposeful the organization has not posted what happened in 2020 and 2021 because I bet the numbers would have been concerning.
If you're thinking about doing it, dont be a coward.. Stay alive and suffer with the rest of us lol

Despair-
noun. a state in which all hope is lost or absent. “in the depths of despair” · noun. the feeling that everything is wrong and nothing will turn out well.
Just 2 more weeks...
Wear a mask and get back to normal...
Get the shots and get your life back...

I'm not sure how far into the future it may be before some public health historian tries to estimate solid numbers.

- All of the world's attention was focused on the potential fatalities, victims of the virus and it seemed as if all the rest did not exist anymore.
- The United Nations and several other international institutions warned us that the number of people starving or dying from hunger in developing countries as a consequence of the lockdowns could be far higher than the number of victims of the virus could claimeven if no measures were taken at all.
- There were two sets of risks; the risks from the virus and the risks from the lockdown measures but it seemed that the population and the governments did not manage to take both sources of danger into account.
- We haven't seen at any time really a comparison of the number of people that could die of the virus and the number of people that could die from the corona measures. That is the most basic thing that a society should consider- whether the remedy will be worse than the disease.

I know that I've been feeling a hella lot more depressed just WFH'ing in the crib every day with no one to talk to.

Honestly though I am pretty tired of it and want to get back into the office.
