My girl said she wouldn't take my name if we married

I'm usually anti marriage crew but this chick makes me feel all kindsa feelings.

Now I'm thinking it's not reciprocal.

I said it's a point of respect to take the man's name. A sign of commitment and submission.

She said it would be both weird and confusing if we had the same first name.

I’m really not fussed about the missus having my last name, just as long as the kids do.

But at the same time I think it would be nice for the kids if their mother had the same last name as them, so I would try to convince the missus on those grounds.
