Is it just me or are asians tall AF these days

Swear these younger generation of asians are super tall. These chinese exchange students are not only tall but large-boned/robust. The 2nd generation western ones are big too. The dutch used to be manlets 100 years ago, but are now tall. It seems asians have done the same.

Turns out there's a study backing up what I'm seeing/saying:
https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/...largest-growth

Tall tales: Asians hit new heights with largest growth spurts in world, 100-year study finds

Research led by scientists at Imperial College London and published in the journal eLife found that men and women from Hong Kong, mainland China, South Korea and Japan experienced some of the most significant growth spurts.

Among the Hong Kong academics contributing data to the survey, Professor Jean Woo, chairwoman of Chinese University’s department of medicine and therapeutics, described local growth rates as “dramatic”.
“If you go around looking at Hong Kong Chinese, the young generation are pretty tall, old people are very small – it’s a very good reflection of improved nutrition and better public health,” the professor added.

Yeah I’m 6’2” and so many Asian dudes, particularly the ones born in Asia, are taller than me. The ones born here are really short still.

Mainlanders/Koreans are taller than Kongers/Japs.

The west used to be 95% Kongers and Japs. they tarnished the asian male's image for many decades.

It is only the last 10 years or so Mainlanders form the north and Koreans started coming to the west. Now you see tall Asian brahs.
