Cutting brahs, do you count green vegetables in your daily calories?

I've been eating mostly broccoli as my main vegetable source, but haven't been counting it in my daily calorie count. Wondering if it is hindering my results. I'm weirdly leaning out, but not really losing weight. (Ded fkn Srs)

Are you cooking them with oil or butter or just steaming them? If steaming them, the calories are negligible unless you are eating a metric ton. 30 calories a cup.

Steamed. The only thing added is salt. However, I am consuming probably up to 6 cups a day, to help mitigate hunger. (Ded fkn Srs)

If you just started cutting, like less than 4 weeks, just keep going. Anytime I am cutting my weight doesn't move for 4 weeks then one day I'll wake up 5 or 6 pounds lighter. Its common. If you feel you are leaning out, you probably are.

I cut hard enough that those calories are irrelevant.
Eat in a deficit to lose weight.
Hit your protein and fat minimums to stay healthy and keep your gainz.
Lift heavy and do HIIT to look and feel awesome.
Use the internet to learn why you should do these things and how to do these things.

It's an utter mind fukk when you're on the EC stack, intermittent fasting and eating 1600 calories a day, but not losing a pound. Yet still leaning out and getting stronger. (Ded fkn Srs)

I don't even check the scale. If my pants are getting looser, its working.

That guy Kyle McDonald or whatever that was the bb.com flavor of the week 5 or 10 years ago wrote theorized about what he called the "whoosh" theory...basically that your fat cells are emptying and replacing it with water so you don't lose pounds even though you are losing fat, then over a 1-2 day period you piss and poop and sweat it all out and your body dumps it all and you lose 5-6 pounds overnight. A long time ago I lost 100 pounds and this happened the entire way.

When I'm tracking I do, because it's already in my MFP and easy enough to hit the check mark on it. Takes a second.

I hit them 3x a day.

Meal 1: 1 large bag of fresh spinach

Meal 2: 1 small bag of frozen peas or 1 bag or fresh (or frozen) Brussels sprouts

Meal 3: 1/2 a big bag frozen California blend or 1/2 bag frozen or fresh broccoli ( which as said I am tickled and I mean delightfully tickled you can spell broccoli on bb com again. Good job admins.) which I save the other 1/2 of for the next day

That’s all the whole veggies I eat every day of my life. Unless it’s a potato or corn I don’t really bother with tracking. But terms not green. Neither Is the cauliflower or carrot… I have a mfp but stopped using it.

Op how are you not super bloated?

I mean 6 cups a day, now that’s 180 calories, so depending on how much of a deficit your cut is, it could through it off. Like if you are only cutting 250 calories a day.

I generally do not track green veggies. That said some veggies can be higher, peas, corn, olives, artichokes (in oil), beets, Rutabaga, Parsnip, etc those should be tracked like fruit should be.

Probably my low carb intake. Days where I don't lift, I'm practically not consuming any carbs. Lifting days, my carbs range from 60-120g a day. (Ded fkn Srs)
