I do like this suggestion. It is just simple to be yourself there is no reason to pretend something you are not because if you do you will only look even worse and more awkward. I was the exact same in college up until the middle of my sophomore year when I finally stopped trying to be a social butterfly, and instead just embraced my personality as it was. I started going to more parties, but I wouldn't force myself anymore to talk to anyone I wasn't interested in, or put on any front. I seriously ended up getting a decent reputation after a couple months of this, people would come up and talk to me about their problems or ask for advice on chit because they knew that despite my rough edges, I was no bull****.I literally do not have the patience, energy, or enough care to pretend to feel a certain way or be something I'm not.It's very refreshing to let go of that.

I ended up becoming decently popular among a couple of the sororities, ded fukn srs, because they knew I was no games no drama. Had a decent number of brahs I'd shoot the chit with as well.
