Should I go back to school for web dev?
Never finished college. Only went for around a semester, but realized I didn't actually want to go to college for Art so I stopped.
I'm pretty much settled on pursuing web development as a career, and I know it's something you can go the self-taught route for, but I wonder if there's any benefit to going back to college and getting a degree.

I don't think web dev is in-demand in 2022, Seems as though networking is basically on it's way out as well.
Degrees don't seem to be very important in I.T, I would say EXPERIENCE is the most important and CERTS secondary.
I am only going to COLLEGE because I am desperate and HOPE it will help me get hired but I know DEEP down NOBODY cares and I probably won't finish it.

How old are you?
What debt would you end up with?
What is a likely wage after finishing?
What it the job market like now for web design?
All considerations, IMO.

BRB, Half the classes don't transfer for undergrad.
People know it is NOT a real 2-year degree.

i know the internet world is weird and you can get be a legit coder without a day of college making 200k but why not if it will help you build upon your skillset and add to your resume as an hr check box?

If they see anything besides AAS or AA maybe AS they know you didn't complete a real degree.
stuff like "Associate in full stack development" is CRINGE as fook and NOT a real degree.
You'd be better off just GETTING certs if YOU wanted to go that route.
