Why can’t scientist make seedless mangoes?

They can do it with watermelon so why not mangoes? You’d get twice as much mango if they did

cutting/clones. Essentially 100% of fruit tree used in agriculture comes from cuttings not seeds. YOu get genetic variation from seeds, and identical fruits and genetics when you use cuttings.
