Last month was 10 years on the service side for air emissions. I’m making the jump to the customer side which is where everybody looks to land in oil and gas. Everyone wants to make “company” because it’s very lucrative. 40 hour weeks, office with some field, 100% medical paid for entire family, 10% 401k, 15% bonuses, $60,000 in stock grants.

It’s life changing for me. And in Texas, cost of living means this is great money.

Congrats on the jump and the fact that there are incentives AND a solid salary on top of that means are the best of both worlds. Most of the time it’s one without the other (great pay, ZERO options, or Solid options, lower pay) but you have BOTH

Get used to this new life brah, it will feel weird for at least 1 year and a half, after that it’s gonna be your new normal and you shall enjoy every bit of it.
