I just like watching pets on utube. Way too much responsibility to take care of one. There are people on there with lions tigers and bears as pets.

You could've adopted a kitten that's a shelter and it been no different than buying one. The one you purchase would've probably found a good home regardless, but you could've given a shelter cat a better chance.

Keep him occupied, they are quite chatty and have a range of meows they will constantly use, and if he isn't sufficiently mentally stimulated he will get noisy.

Have him neutered if you don't want him pissing on things. Bengals are usually kept as indoor cats aswell, as they will attack other cats and are often stolen, so you'll either want to build something outside for him that he can't escape, or get a harness and take him out sometimes, if you're keeping him as an indoor cat.

I would also suggest wet food, my cat barely drinks and gets all of his hydration from food pretty much, when he had dry food he struggled to pee which is apparently common in male bengals on dry food diets.

Other than that they are fairly easy to care for, and their coat doesn't trigger allergies.

They also become super attached to one person.

Yeh, he's got more toys than my 3 year old nephew. Getting him a cat tree tomorrow so he can get high up. Do you let yours roam outside free?

cool...i have a purebred ocicat...supposed to mimic leopards and stuff but really she is like any other cat ...looks cool though.

EDIT: don't let your cat go outside if possible. all kinds of dangers. also it might take a while for your cat to warm up to you or your house. my cat can open doors by sliding her paw underneath the door and keep scratching until it opens (if unlocked obvsly). she got out a few time but now doesn't bother...maybe take her out on leash to get over her curiosity about the outdoors. but she should learn that its aint worth it.

I do, but only when i'm supervising him, or sometimes on a harness if i go further than my garden.

He escaped once when he was young, he came home 3 days later quite skinny lol.

Also OP don't worry about people telling you that you "wasted money"...lol. My dogs and my cats are all purebreds. So many advantages that come with getting a breed that youve researched and can nurture from kittenhood.

I'm not against going to shelters but 1) some employee told me that the reason all the dogs are pits are because the good ones go before their pictures are even up on websites and 2) some employees probably adopt/sell the pets themselves. I mean a purebred dog can still fetch a 1000 even without papers if really attractive (looks law muh friend).

Maybe someday i'll get a shelter cat but dogs especially should be taken very seriously.

ALSO LOL at all the money that miscers WASTE on sports cars, protein powder, costco, etc. ...shyt that can't love you back or even show any affection.

I used to be a watchcel (rolex crew) absolute fukin waste of money unless you wanna attract homos and thieves so i've made the materialism mistake as well.

cliffs: looks muthafukas looks.
