A battle as old as time. The pretty boy Stephen Curry lightskins think they're taking over, but Team Wesley Snipes are putting that on pause.

There's no way ngannou won 5th round. Gane had the harder strikes, the only take down and 3 submission attempts. Ngannou just had top position and did nothing. Even going by the official ufc rules gane won that round.

bottom = submissive. especially if no sub attempts were thrown up

ngannou won that fight.
Official ufc rules state that control and position reversals don't mean anything if they don't capitalise and create potential to end the fight. Ngnannou did nothing in round 5 except 1 sweep.

Gane did well for like the first minute of round 5 and then Ngannou laid ontop of him for the rest of the fight.

You're not gonna become the new UFC Heavy Weight Champion after the guy basically had dominant position over you for 3 straight rounds.

I was impressed with Gane. He neutralized Ngannou's striking pretty easily. But he needs serious wrestling and ground (getting up from bottom position, etc.) training.

I feel like there should be a massive pay cut when fights go to decision and guys don't leave it all on the line. Two heavyweight strikers and when it goes to the decision you look at them and can't tell if they just finished fighting or a bit of cardio. Wat?


Judges need to be like "They need to keep fighting until someone loses the fight."
