Ever since social media released, we've experienced a social and cultural shift, much akin to the revolutions in the 60's. As Obama entered office and ******** arrived, issues of identity have become a focal point. The shift from foreign and international to a domestic focus.

Before social media, we'd have never heard about so many problematic issues, such as cultural appropriation, white privilege, or even other subtle forms of microaggressive racism.

Social media is awesome because it gives the power back to the people. It gives the little guy in society a voice. It lets us hold the rich and white responsible - we can cancel them at a moments notice. I love cancel culture. I do understand that one day we'll all get cancelled ourselves, but I digress.
