imagine being in a room, after hearing a court case, and having to listen to 10 other people all be pussy SJW's and you have to be formal and not get emotional when deliberating with them and they spend HOURS being irrational and making EVERY decision based on emotions and not on the actual law.

They don't want you to have any connection to the case. For example, if it's a robbery case, they don't want anyone who has been robbed. Obviously you can't know anyone involved with the trial or know cops and lawyers professionally and sometimes even just as friends.
Also you have to be unbiased. For example, you can't have any preconceived notions and you can't say "They're obviously guilty if they've been arrested."
Just be as unbiased and unconnected as possible.
When I went to a voire doire it was a drug case and I said drugs should be legalized so I was out of that room faster than you can say "Legalize Cannabis!"

It's interesting. I've been summoned 3 times and picked twice.
