Got hit at a red light camera

Driving in to work, approached an intersection, the light turned yellow. I hit the gas, light turns red when I was already halfway through the intersection, I see a flash go off. Do people still get tagged in those depending? Everybody I knew who got hit said they crossed the line right when it turned red.

Is op ****ed?

If you were already in the intersection when it was yellow then you're fine

I was driving one day when I saw the flash of a traffic camera. I figured that my picture had been taken for exceeding the speed limit, even though I knew that I was not speeding.

Just to be sure, I went around the block and passed the same spot, driving even more slowly, but again the camera flashed. Now I began to think that this was quite funny, so I drove even slower as I passed the area again, but the traffic camera again flashed. I tried a fourth time with the same result. I did this a fifth time and was now laughing when the camera flashed as I rolled past, this time at a snail’s pace…

Two weeks later, I got five tickets in the mail for driving without a seat belt…

Those things are stupid

Also by "hit" I thought OP was going to say something like "I stopped so I wouldn't get a ticket and I got rear-ended" and then I'd come in here and say "no homo".
Would kick em in the nuts

You should be OK. If not, fight it, but that could be a huge hassle.

I got a ticket from one like 10+ years ago. I didn't know they still ran them these days.

They sent me a video of it too. I wish I could have kept the video because it was right after I got rims on my car and the angles looked so cool. Oh well. I just paid it, was like $100 and no points.

Nope. Here a red light ticket given by a cop is $200. If you're caught by a red light camera it is $500. So more than half goes to the red light ticket camera company.
