Finished watching The Last Dance

Michael Jordan reminded me a lot of Arnold in the way they both have the arrogant "win at all costs" attitude.

They both said this was ingrained in them from a very young age which stemmed from always seeking their fathers approval. They both had brothers who they were ultra competitive with, and when they lost were constantly berated and belittled by their dad.

So that's just it brahs, if you have sons and want one of them to be hyper-successful, make them compete against each other mercilessly. Shame them every time their brother is better than them, make them hungry to be the best at something.

If you are raised like that and you have incredible talent then you end up like them.

If you are raised like that but don’t have exceptional talent then you end up as a Miscer

Arnold didn't really have any incredible talent though. He just worked out a chit load and took cell tech from a young age. But his goal driven mentality to be the best stemmed from being belittled by his nazi Dad and being pitted against and constantly compared to his brother Meinhard.
