Calling out libs: just got covid and had to get tested for work. explain this

Double vaxxed as I got pressured into it by my job. caught covid a few days ago at work, haven't been sick in about 3 years. inb4 "you were prob asymptomatic before"

anyways:

if covid is so "contagious", why do they insist on shoving a straw up your nose to get an accurate reading of this so called virus? me spitting in a tube should be enough no? or what about coughing onto a piece of plastic that's sent for analysis?

i know libs don't use their brains and logic has been thrown out the window among them because we gotta trust the science folks, but if I'm a walking disease and I "breathe" in your direction without a mask, you would f8ckn panic because CNN told you to.. yet in order to see if i even have the virus they gotta swab my brain. make it make sense.

Like you actually fuking had to make some assumption that shoving something farther into your nose to get a good testable sample means that the virus can't be that contagious, and if it is that contagious you could get it from spit.

As it seems like everyone on the internet has figured out the governments plot regarding covid, what is the end-game to all of this that they couldn't accomplish by much easier means? If they're trying to track us, why use something as convoluted and as a virus+vaccination scheme when they can just track us through our phones which EVERYONE has already unless you're some derelict living in the forests of Appalachia?

...and if its secretly Bill Gates trying to cull the human population because there's too many of us (or whatever the current conspiracy is these days) Why not lace starbucks coffee and mcdonalds food with a deadly slow acting poison? Again it would take no coercion (like the issue they're having with the vaccine) and virtually everyone on the planet eats or drinks from those two establishments at least once per year.

I get it, the pandemic/vaccine narrative sounds more exciting like something from a Tom Clancy novel or hollywood movie, but in reality its just not practical.

My take is, the government has no idea what its doing, and instead of letting scientists lead the way we were left with a bunch of lawyers and business graduates who became politicians try to explain the complexities of virology and immunology in a piss poor attempt to quell fears, and they made things worse and both political parties in their effort to not take the blame for phucking things up started blaming the other party somehow turning a pandemic into a political issue.

Virus enters host ---> immune system tries to kill virus --> virus survives ---> virus replicates ---> infection

The amount of virus needed to be contagious is then only the amount needed to survive and successfully replicate in your body. From that, it's clear that even a small amount of a sufficiently immune evasive virus can take hold and cause an infection. That amount can very easily be much smaller than your test is able to pick up.

I have heard this a lot, where a person hasn't been sick in years, hadn't gotten COVID this entire time, they get the vaccine, bam, they have COVID. It's a story on repeat currently. They have no answer for it except to deny it or say you were asymptomatic or that it is more contagious now, things like this. The only way you could prove different is if you had been getting tested perhaps weekly from the very beginning and were negative every single week up until now. Even then, it's a tough position to argue from.

It's technically possible but extremely unlikely; I'm talking 1 in 1000 chance


Saliva is produced in the mouth, the virus resides in the back of the nasal cavity and sometimes works it's way down very slowly into the lungs(which is what causes symptoms to become more severe like Influenza)

1) Protection doesn't last long.
