Why Isn't Vigilantism More of a Thing?

Why do anything IRL when LARP'ing on the internet is so much easier?

interesting. yeah maybe most of the outraged ppl are just cowards unless behind a screen or in a mob. It just seems odd that with some much discontent no one has decided to take things into their own hands.

Depends where you come from.

Growing up my neighborhood was very active with PIRA. You could leave your doors unlocked, car unlocked etc and you'd be fine. Thieves got beatings. Drug dealers got knee capped. P3dos got knee capped/plugged. Basically if you were a scumbag eventually you were going to come face to face with 3-4 armed masked men in your living room some night. Since that all went away though its not the same anymore, my old area is a dump, drugs all over the place, area not looked after, would certainly not leave your door unlocked.

In 2022 bounty hunters are known as bail bondsmen. They get to go raid your baby mamma's mom's house when you don't show up to court for a bail bond they posted.

Well I can tell you why it's not in America.

Because you get shot up for looking the wrong way at someone.

Lol at thinking people are going to try to step in on Tyronne and Jamal's weekly curb stomping episode out in the street.

sounds kind of dope tbh. but yeah i truly do believe its up to the ppl in a neighborhood to take care of it. leaving it to cops and paper work SOMETIMES seems silly and ineffective

just read this on google.

"Bounty hunters are able to make arrests and have some elbow room when it comes to making those arrests. These investigators are permitted to enter a bail jumper's residence without a search or arrest warrant. That is, if they have probable cause, meaning they believe the bail jumper is in the residence at that time."

thats fkn sick. You and 2 bros kickin in doors etc

Well one issue is the big cities experiencing crime make difficult for law abiding citizens to own firearms while criminals have no problem getting firearms.

It was yeah, was a nice spot to grow up in for the most part. Cops didn't enter the area in anything less than these landrovers due to heavy paramilitary presence & they came with 4-5 of these at a time minimum with 6 men in the back of each one armed with ARs. There was never any need for them to come though, they done it intentionally to stir the trouble.
