Quitting tobacco 5 days in...

Well, second time I've gone down this road has been a bit harder than the first. Started snus in college, quit after and had zero withdrawals or consequences. This time around massive headaches all day long and never ending hunger. I've already gained 5 pounds. Just today the headaches have stopped and after arguing with my woman all morning realize I'm not the flaming ass hole I normally am lol as we ended it on a good note. So far so good, I think I've kicked it.

Good luck.

I quit on Dec 30th. No real reason as I enjoy it but didn't like feeling beholden to American Spirits specifically. Anyways I just savored my last pack and instead of smoking thoughtlessly I smoked them with some awareness introspection. I was gonna quit on the 31 and saved two for that day but figured get it over with.

cliffs; all mental....physical for a week or so but then you get over it. Also important ...nothing wrong with smoking one every now and then. Its enjoyable just don't let it own you.

EDIT: smoked the black pack but usually the light blue or even the menthols. Had the entire line I'm sure. Just saying I wasn't smoking soft cigs...I smoked the best and strongest.

You can do it. Remember its all mental. Don't listen to your body.

Best of success with stopping tobacco smoking. I hope you succeed. I was just thinking hte other day how I'm happy that people no longer smoke tobacco in public anymore. In the past being around smokers would cause my eyes to become blood shot red for some reason. Which would result in the occasional question to me of, did I have any weed?

Many years ago a grandmother of mine got it into her head that she wanted granddad to stop smoking. After constant nagging granddad relented. He stopped smoking. And soon after fun loving granddad became moody and mean along with putting on a good amount of weight. A strange thing happened after that. It wasn't long after granddad stopped smoking that grandma was begging grandad to start smoking once again.

Those are even worse IMO because you can hit them just about anywhere.

I guess same with dip/snuff, although they're a little more limited, same with smoking.
The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

That's why grandma's apple pie rocks and yours sucks.

Yeah man it’s gotten really bad lol

I hit it all day at my desk, wake up and hit it, I even hit it between sets at the gym

Can only imagine how dumb I look in the gym sitting on the bench hitting the vape between sets

LMFAO I know because I used to have them til I realized I was smoking the vape way more than I would smoke tobacco.

Used to be a juul guy and go through 1.5 pods/day

its like new years resolutions how many fail within 1 to 2 months?

95% of diets fail and the people end up fatter

smokers tend to give up when they have a big health scare......
