Adults being protected from misinformation

This Neil Young vs Joe Rogan Spotify stuff got me thinking about the regular use of the word “misinformation”, and how it has become common for companies to censor things they deem to fit under that description. ********, Twitter, Reddit, Youtube, etc.

Should it be acceptable for these tech monoliths to stifle what it deems as incorrect or wrong, if they deem it to be potentially damaging to the good of the public, without allowing people (most likely fully grown adults) to see it themselves and draw their own conclusions?

It's because it's not misinformation, that's why they're blocking it.

Problem is we think everyone who disagrees with us is stupid, not afraid of Covid… stupid, this is mainly because we rarely talk about the same things, for example me and you can sit on a bench together, see a car accident, and discuss, coming to some sort of commonality, but I can watch the car accident on Fox News, and you on cnn, and we will discuss it, but we won’t really be taking about the same thing/event, as we’ve received completely different information and points of views, so we will come off stupid to each other, hints why all libs are retards, and all conservatives are hicks.

I got all that from Rogan btw lol.

It's a form of censorship that is basically on-par with China at this point. Different agendas, but same methods. At least China is pretty straight-forward about its censorship. In the states we espouse "democracy" and "freedom" while the tech giants de-platform our own president and openly censor dissenting voices in the name of "combating misinformation." I think you're correct in that this goes hand-in-hand with the trend of infantilizing our voting population so that they can be more easily manipulated.

This. Lies easily fall apart, but the truth can stand on its own. Instead of going “I’m taking my music off of your platform if you don’t silence this guy” why didn’t they just offer to go on his show and point out what they feel is inaccurate with his statements. Or he’ll, point out what they feel is wrong. Saying “misinformation” is like saying “safe and effective” or “trust the science”. There is no clear cut definition, it’s just used to shut down conversation. So now Spotify will “combat misinformation” by providing links to sources that have repeatedly provided false information for the past two years. That’s how you know this whole thing is a bunch of horse sh!t. Better than silencing Rogan though so I think they found the closest way possible to keep him up with minimal continued pressure. Plus most people who listen to his podcast will understand those links are just window dressing to appease a bunch of brainwashed leftists.

This is basically what it boils down to, this agenda to protect the stupid, black, gay, and wierdos, is all part of the plot to bring communism to the free world, srs.

(un)Surprisingly Joe -HorsePills- Rogan has yet another bomber podcast on this very subject

Dr. Robert Epstein is an author, professor, and Senior Research Psychologist at American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology: a non-profit, non-partisan organization that offers data regarding the power of Google and other Big Tech companies to censor dissenting opinions online and sway the outcome of elections.

https://open.spotify.com/episode/4q0cNkAHQQMBTu4NmeNW7E

Cliffs:

Big tech and their (generally) leftist ways work their way into selling what they want for profit and value pushing, in a ton of ways that aren't regulated or understood.

People with md degrees taking about on YouTube with the god damn view count ringing up like they’re not talking about ass fucjibg Matt Bonino for democracy and covid recovery plan. Legit and they’ll change it to something similar but the fact remain(s) just wait until you see some of the insane shiit discovered and released by Lockheed you’ll realize irrespective of any virus the central idea of them locking you In your homes, making you take vaccines and missing out on work? Is control for 5G profit in Huawei right after cheating in the election, then? It became no we’re getting with the program women… all you gotta do is get ass fucjed by max connor and help him bang bang your small space bears you’re thinking some gentle dhit on abd they’re trying to force pornhub thugs in gif gang bsngs and sexually terrorizing me and the point?

Their mob induction tactic turned covid pandemic is all about my getting ass fucjed by max connor, protecting big techs financial interests, keeping the narrative going they’re protecting someone from me?

The person doing the investigation and saving everyobe abd now they’re at the point they’re sending pleads via news subliminal messages on fake news channels to? Just let it? That’s ok and they can’t understand why that forcing a sex change on me isn’t only completely fuvked up at a cost to 13 trillion? But they’re interfering with the international marriages to allow me to be happy and fix it for others acting like everything and everyone isn’t being recorded and going to be held accountable for

Fact checkers analysis complete for statement: “2 + 2 = 4”

Analysis: Like most things in life, statements include assumptions. An assumption about the assumptions in this statement is that the statement assumes a base 10 decimal system. In a base 2 numbering system, this statement is false because “4” does not exist, and neither does “2”. Considering that the base 10 decimal is so common, because most humans have 10 fingers. Therefore, this statement is not only not true, but also ableist against those with missing fingers

Synopsis: False, with a tinge of ableism
Best lifts:
Bench press: 315x5
Squat: 465x1
Strict press: 205x5
Deadlift: 405x13 (conv tap'n'go with straps)

Rogan makes an extremely valid point in his response video: A ton of "information" presented over the past 2 years has now been deemed wrong, and would be considered "misinformation" at the time. Just because something isnt publically accepted, doesnt mean its wrong. Science is literally a process of constantly evolving perspectives based on the evidence.

Right. Its all in self interest too. They go along with whatever they believe will give them power and money. This is why leftism becomes widespread; leftism is centralized government, and centralized government creates regulations that protect big businesses and hurt small businesses. Right wing support begins to fade out because it means less protection from the government, and more power spread out among more individuals. But that was the point our forefathers wanted. The more power is spread out, the less corrupt the system will be. It’s when power end up in the hands of the few that things go terribly wrong, and that’s what leftism/socialism does.

It makes a lot more sense when you realize that all of these huge companies are all owned by just a few. They think that corporatism is going to be the outcome of all of this, when really it will be fascism and socialism

Basically, the government is saying that we're too dumb to make our own choices so they'll do it for us.
Sound like a slippery slope towards tyranny, subjugation, and control.

The problem is these platforms (twitter, youtube, ******** etc) are already the dominant forms of communication among people today. You can't just tell people to use other platforms when, for example, even our elected leaders use them to communicate with their constituents. It would be like if public broadcasting censored FDR during the era of the Fireside Chat. Will you deny that twitter, youtube, etc. serve the same function as radio/television did in yesteryears? I don't think you can. So it's not really that simple.Tech giants should not be able to arbitrate political discourse in this country.Twitter and other platforms are now the dominant methods of communication especially amongst younger generations. We can't allow this and you should understand that "finding a different platform" is not a solution or even logical at best.

Spotify's response was completely pathetic. How can you not know by now that cancel culture cannot be pacified. It has to completely destroy, then move on to the next target.

They needed to take the first amendment route and tell Young that in 1970, he would not have stood for artists from the 50's trying to cancel him for the things he was saying in his songs.

Agreed. apologizing and complying only makes things worse. It's a temporary relief until they come back around, STRONGER than they were the first time and with more vicious tactics. This manifests in to great evil. Your conscious will never rest knowing you showed weakness and helped them commit their evils. You soon realize that you are now A PART of the collective...
