Anyone know how to get rid of dandruff? (reps)

Never had dandruff in my life.

Moved to cold climate again. If I shake my hair I have dandruff for days.

Currently I am doing no poo, but every so often I will use my spouse's expensive shampoo / condition.

are there any fail safe methods to get rid of this chit?

Thanks

Neutrogena T gel shampoo twice a week for 6 weeks then once a week forever.

Also add some hair oil after into the scapl and don't add gunk to your hair like gel etc. If you have to keep it to the tips.

Yeah I use clay pomade in my hair everyday, this might be the culprit. Will look up Neutrogena T gel. Thanks.

It's the only one that's anti fungal so if it's flakey dry skin it's what worked best for me. Also clears up jock itch and athletes foot. Use the chit like body wash.

i tried Nizoral too but i had a problem where i would have. to use huge amounts to get it spread around evenly. T gel i use small amount twice in one shower. leave in for 7 minutes each time and my hair is so clean.

This chit is the cure srs. Works for me with any shampoo but I get best results using this with Head and Shoulders. I also use coconut/mct oil (clear liquid not the solid white kind) on my hair, beard, face, and neck after I shower and it's made my skin better and dandruff way less.

I’ve had dandruff a couple times in my life. I’ve always taken care of it with a simple heads and shoulders wash. How such a simple question stumped you means you probably shouldn’t exist. Let me guess you have multiple children

I have seborrheic dermatitis, which creates rashes/flakes on my face, upper back, and scalp. I cannot really control my face or back very well, but head and shoulders almond oil almost completely contains my scalp. I highly recommend you try it out.

How often are you washing your hair? Showering everyday strips the natural oils from your scalp (and skin) and doesn't give it enough time to naturally produce & coat your scalp. It is literally the worst thing you can do for your hair.

I used to use Nizoral (it works) but it's not meant to be a long term solution. Head and Shoulders shampoos have come a long way and have helped my dry scalp. My head doesn't come loose like a snow globe anymore. I highly recommend switching to H&S if you have issues with dandruff

If Nizoral isn't working, could just be that you have a dry scalp from the colder climate. Increase water intake and get a better conditioner. Also don't shampoo daily which can also lead to dry scalp.
