Baldcel brahs gtfih (questions about minoxidil & Finasteride)

My hairline has been thinning rapidly lately so I've decided to be proactive..

Just got some Kirkland minoxidil foam from Amazon, and as I was reading the box, it says it's not for the hairline and more so for the crown. Wtf?

Does this not work on the hairline? Also are there any sides I should be worried about using this stuff? There is quite a long list of warnings on the box..



As for Fin....I'm scared to take this chit. Srs.

Has anyone had ZERO sides? And if you had sides, did it go away when you stopped taking it?

Even the thought of watery semem is offputting to me...


I'm not worried about going bald, I just want to postpone it a little bit. If I can save my precious follicles until I'm 45 I'd be cool with the reaper taking his due then. But not my early 30s.

it works on hairline. and minox likely won't halt your hairloss long term, as all it does is encourage growth, it doesn't stop the hair from becoming sensitive to DHT and thinning.

So eventually the thinning will outpace the growth from the minoxidil.

I wish I took fin when I was 19, srs, and not waited until I was 26.

Did fin regrow the hair you already lost?

It does work on hairline but more effective on the crown.

For sides from what I heard:

enlarged pores, bags under eyes, heart palpitations.

If I remember correctly some guys also get ancillary hair growth like ears, shoulders etc.
The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

That's why grandma's apple pie rocks and yours sucks.

I've been on fin for just over 5 years now, one pill/1mg a day. Zero sides whatsoever have no problems with my sex drive or getting/staying hard. The negative sides only affect an unlucky 1% of men who take it. My hair is thicker and my hairline has stopped receding infact I think it's grown out slightly.

Rogaine/minodixil can be used on the hairline too but I found it too much hassle applying it twice a day so don't bother anymore. It can help grow your hairline but it won't prevent you receding further if you have the MPB gene.

Finasterides lowers your DHT levels which is what causes hairloss so it's essential if you want to prevent balding.

It works on the hairline. They can't say that because they did not test there. They only tested thr crown.

Monixidil stimulates hair growth but does not slow the balding process.
Finasteride slows the process but does not stimulate regrowth as much as minoxidil.

stop being a pussy and just try it. Minoxidil will grow hair in any place hair can grow, look up minoxidil beards. It was just researched on the crown.

Fin is better. Then focus on muscles.

depends on the definition of loss. once the hair follicle is dead, it cant grow back. fin can reduce the amount of 5-AR in your body, which converts testosterone into DHT, which causes the miniaturizing hair follicles.

i took fin for over 10 years but it only blocked one of the 5-ARs, so my hairline was slowly dying off. i've since been on dutasteride, which reduces 2 types of 5-ARs, so now my hair stopped receding and the affected hairs are growing back thicker.

OP,

if you are scared of oral fin, try topical. ive seen some tutorials where you would get 60ml of minox and add your fin tablets in. once it dissolves, just shake it up and apply it once to twice a day. people react differently to topical, so they'd adjust how many mg's of tablets they would add.

What was your dosage of dutasteride? did your dink stop working/decreased libido?

I’m on 5mg/day for almost a year now and my dink still works and my libido is still up there. I did have a scare a few weeks ago when I got ED, but it’s from me missing my aromatase inhibitor (I’m on dat derbTRT), which came back a few days after I got back on it.

Dut imo is the final resort. If that doesn’t work, then let the Norwood reaper take taketh what’s his.
