Was clown world always inevitable

With the invention of the internet and twitter giving fringe minority opinions a huge platform, was clown world always going to happen?

Or are there other factors behind all of this?

day to day clown world has pretty much no impact on my life...........it is largely virtual

There is another factor at play here, and that is a long sustained period of time without any perceived external threat to our way of life. I'm talking about another force physically and violently entering our space, either aliens or otherwise. Just imagine an aggressive force coming down from the sky, laying waste to our towns with the intent of extermination of the human race. How high on our list of concerns would transphobia and BLM be in that situation?

Point is, when you don't have any external threats for so long, you invent silly ones from within. It's why they say that the start of the end of every long standing empire was marked by gender and basic categorical confusion. Showed people had absolutely nothing else to worry about, so they lost their way and forgot what held them together in the first place.

I think human society does go in cycles (see orgies and feasts while the barbarians are at the gates of Rome), but social media has accelerated this trend and made it more tangibly visible to the wider public.

This seems accurate. A world war, depression, etc., will knock us out of clown world. A real threat to life as we know it will introduce real problems. The clown world nonsense will dissolve.

I would say no, it shouldn't have gotten so weird in so many places all at once. Any one major thing would seem like a normal cycle of human evolution, yadda yadda, but seeing a poisonous ideology seep into and infect every single organization in Western Society is not organic whatsoever.

Of course I think the whole pandemic was an intentional depopulation / culling, money laundering scheme, and excuse to go public about a new world government. Hell, they tell you flat out..."Build back better," "The Great Reset," and other slogans are just rewordings of "Order out of chaos."
You could even apply it to many facets of the culture war...
Chaos = COVID // Order = Vaccine
Chaos = Racism // Order = CRT
Chaos = Misogyny // Order = Misandry
Chaos = White Privilege // Order = Cancel Culture
Chaos = Overpopulation // Order = Abortion
And so on.

Yes. Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin had predicted corruption before the central government was even formed. The states being indebted to the central government was probably the worst idea ever for a free nation. The greater the debt, the greater the power of the central government.
