They were negligent and the German was an opportunist and kidnapped and raped/killed her. They should’ve gone to prison tbh, they indirectly caused her death no matter what happened

I can't remember the details other than cell phone records showing a ****phile/registered sex offender in the vicinity of the hotel room when she went missing, but I'm pretty sure you're right. Don't think he's been "busted" due to lack of evidence, but everything points to that guy

I think awhile back I vaguely remember something about how Jon Benet asked her brother for some pineapple and he refused. She took it anyways and he got really mad and attacked her. He hit her in the head, and their dad panicked after seeing their daughter and cover up for him. Granted they neglected their son due to their daughter. Some FBI agent decoded the audio, and it show how angry John was. The tone was as he was speaking to a child, and they parents elaborate did the whole ransom note as a cover up or whatever to protect Burke Ramsay.

Could have been an accidental poisoning. I read she drugged her children so they could have dinner at night with the adults, and the kids would sleep the entire time. I think she gave too much to her one night. One of their associates got rid of the body.

That story sounds plausible. I read there were sexual abuse marks on her which gets really creepy and over the top as far as doing a cover up goes.

I don't think John did anything inappropriately with JonBenet. I think it was more of Burke probably grabbing her and so forth. During the time, I think she wet her bed a bit, so she would often go to to Burke's room and sleep there.

After they got there-the police in that area had no clue how to handle a murder scene, along with staffing issues for Xmas/New Year & let neighbours & friends trample all over the area even after they turned up-rather than securing the scene.

Yes, but it remains a source of controversy whether or not it was caused by abuse/prior abuse, or natural inflammation & her regular bed wetting leading to constant inflammation of that area .

It's proven they drugged their kids to make them sleep while they could go out and get pissed up on sangria with their friends.
Either the mum or dad went back to check on the kids and saw Maddie wasn't breathing, so disposed of her. They are extremely narcissistic and are obsessed with their image and their daughters image.
In the book the mother goes on and on about how beautiful Maddie was and how it made her sick to think about:

The theme of ****philia is shown throughout her book, and Kate makes some incredibly bizarre statements about Madeleine’s “perfect body” and “perfect little genitals torn apart”. Kate also includes her encounter with the Portuguese Police in which they are extremely distrusting of her story and were almost certain that Madeleine had died before her reported disappearance and that the McCanns are trying to cover this all up.
