Apparently my dog is racist

Every time a black person comes to the door or walks in front of the house, my dog Mitch barks and gets aggressive. Doesn't matter if it's a woman or a man. If they're latino, asian, or white my dog is fine, but black person freaks him out. Instead of the skin color, do you think it could be the odor or something else that they sense? I googled this and apparently dog racism is a real thing. Certain breeds are more race-specific than others. Mine is a 2 yr old german shepherd and they are more comfortable around white folks. Maybe pit bulls are more black person friendly?
**Eat lots and lots of birds. The smaller the bird, the more compact its protein content. Parrots are great sources for protein.**

I have a black friend though, not sure I'm comfortable bringing him over my house though (not cause he would steal anything, but because of my dog). I wonder if there are anti-racism trainers that folks can bring their dogs to and how much they cost.

I mean ethnicities/nationalities do have different smells.. An Italian isn't going to smell like an Englishman even tho they are both White. Like an African isn't gonna smell like someone from the west indies.. its all to do with diet

I bath in Fresh Iresh Spring, rub Fresh Irish Spring all over myself.

You're dog thinks I am Irish even though I am only around 20%/. When your dog aggressively man handles your limp wrist to drag you towards me, it's only to get a sniff.

OP dog just trying to save its energy and knows its statistically most likely the burglar would be black so barks at all them. OP I would also teach your dog to bark at latinos though too because they also do a lot of burglaries.

Can confirm, some dogs really are racist.

Some dogs can be totally comfortable walking down the street and another person walks past them and it's fine... But if a guy wearing sunglasses, a hat, and a beard walks by, they totally freak out. To them that guy looks like an alien. Same thing applies to skin color-- they don't look like a familiar type of human and the dog will freak out. Only way to fix it is hang out with some black people and get your dog comfortable with them.

Yeah unfortunately my area doesn't have many black folks, so they stand out when my dog sees them. Apparently there are dog psychologists that can fix this problem but I don't have the time or money for that chit. As long as the door is locked I'm not concerned about him biting anyone.
